The Whakatāne Mill takes a proactive approach to our ongoing commitment to sustainability. Across sourcing, production and distribution, we are making impactful changes toward a greener future for our business, community, and planet.

Recent machinery upgrades and significant investments have seen our sustainability efforts result in 30% less gas consumption, decreased water consumption from the Whakatāne River, and 30% energy efficiency per tonne of board. Alongside our suppliers, vendors and industry partners, we continue to innovate new solutions to reduce our environmental footprint and promote a more sustainable industry standard.
